Job Description
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining the CI/CD pipeline integrating various components into our Bitbucket repository and managing the release process. This role involves close collaboration with development QA and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
CI/CD Pipeline Management:
Improve design implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines.
Automate build test and deployment processes to ensure efficient and reliable releases.
Repository Integration:
Integrate various components into Bitbucket repositories.
Manage version control and ensure proper version control practices are defined and followed.
Release Management:
Plan and manage the release process ensuring that releases are timely and of high quality.
Coordinate with various teams to ensure timely and highquality releases.
Monitoring and Logging:
Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track application performance and health.
Collaboration:
Work closely with development QA and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery
Facilitate communication and collaboration between teams to resolve issues quickly.
Automation:
Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce human error.
Develop scripts and tools to automate various aspects of the development and deployment process.
Requirements
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python Bash PowerShell).
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and best practices.
Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with data warehousing ETL and business intelligence applications
Experience with agile methodologies and practices.
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools
Required Experience:
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
Experience with CI/CD tools particularly Jenkins
Experience with version control systems particularly Bitbucket.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure).
