BryceTech is looking for a Technical Project Manager that will be responsible for leading and managing innovative technology projects that support the mission of the Department of Defense (DoD). This role requires a combination of technical expertise project management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and nontechnical stakeholders. The successful candidate will drive project execution from inception to completion while ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Project Leadership: Direct and manage technical projects ensuring timely and successful delivery of milestones objectives and deliverables in accordance with project specifications and goals.
- Technical Oversight: Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to ensure project requirements are thoroughly understood and met including overseeing design development and integration efforts.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders facilitating communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and issues develop mitigation strategies and proactively address challenges to ensure project success.
- Budget Management: Oversee project budgets including resource allocation and financial tracking ensuring projects are completed within budget constraints.
- Performance Measurement: Develop metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate project performance and outcomes providing regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including project plans status reports meeting notes and technical specifications.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices and lessons learned into project management processes driving ongoing improvements in project execution and delivery.
- Training and Support: Provide support and training to stakeholders on data analysis tools methodologies and best practices.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. Engineering Computer Science Project Management).
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical project management preferably in defense or technology sectors.
- Proven experience managing complex technical projects and leading crossfunctional teams.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile Scrum Waterfall) and tools (e.g. Microsoft Project JIRA).
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a detailoriented mindset.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills able to effectively convey information to diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Experience with AFWERX initiatives or innovation ecosystems within the DoD.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends relevant to defense and aerospace sectors.
Specialized Tool Experience: Strong proficiency project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project JIRA).
Additional Information :
Must possess an Active Secret security clearance.
