Job Description
BryceTech is looking for a Technical Project Manager that will play a crucial role in supporting AFWERX initiatives designed to foster innovation and collaboration between the Department of Defense (DoD) and privatesector investors. This position involves managing projects that connect startups and small businesses with private capital sources analyzing funding opportunities and providing strategic guidance to enhance investment readiness.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Project Management:
- Oversee the planning execution and evaluation of projects related to private capital initiatives.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Investment Analysis:
- Analyze funding trends and investor behaviors to identify opportunities for partnership and investment.
- Evaluate business proposals and conduct due diligence on potential investment opportunities.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with private investors venture capital firms and startup accelerators.
- Facilitate workshops pitch days and networking events to promote collaboration between startups and investors.
- Reporting and Evaluation:
- Prepare reports and presentations on project outcomes stakeholder feedback and market trends.
- Support the continuous improvement of AFWERX programs through data analysis and feedback.
- Strategic Guidance:
- Provide support and guidance to startups on best practices for securing private funding.
- Assist in the development of resources and materials to enhance the investment readiness of startups.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Business Finance Economics or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management investment analysis or venture capital.
- Strong understanding of the defense industry and the role of innovation in military operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with government contracting and funding processes.
- Experience working with startups and understanding their needs and challenges.
Specialized Tool Experience: Proficient in data analysis tools and project management software.
Additional Information :
Must possess an Active Secret security clearance.
This position is subject to contract award.
