The Role
We are seeking a committed Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to join a well-established and respected team in one of South Australia s key regional hospitals.
You will deliver high-quality care across the full spectrum of obstetrics and gynaecology, participate in clinical governance activities, and play a key role in the education and mentoring of junior medical staff and students.
The hospital offers a Level 2 obstetrics and neonatal nursery, providing comprehensive maternity services with over 500 births annually.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-standard specialist care in obstetrics and gynaecology
  • Contribute to safety, quality, and risk management activities
  • Supervise and mentor TMOs, interns, medical students, and allied health staff
  • Engage in CPD, clinical audit, and (where appropriate) research
About You
  • Fellowship of RANZCOG or assessed as Substantially Comparable
  • Eligible for specialist registration with AHPRA
  • Experience in tertiary or regional obstetrics and gynaecology
  • Proven involvement in teaching, research, and quality improvement

This modern 100-bed hospital is the largest in Country South Australia and offers:
  • 24-hour emergency services
  • 37 medical, 27 surgical, and 20 maternity/paediatric beds
  • 6-bed HDU, 6-bed mental health unit
  • 4 operating theatres, 3 delivery suites
  • Oncology, dialysis, and day surgery services
