Job Description

The Regional Facilities Contracts Manager is ultimately the owner of the FM business in the UK and this person will have full P&L responsibility for the FM section of King and Moffatt UK.

The role includes not only executing works that are currently on the books but working with other sections of the company to expand the FM offering.

As Facilities Contracts Manager you will have responsibility for all aspects of the business from working with BD through hiring; subcontracting; and operational management of this team and ultimately to provide the company with the required margins.

Currently King and Moffatt offers FM support to clients in Healthcare; offices; data centres and various types of warehousing and other facilities providing primarily hard services. We expect to grow these sectors in the coming months and years and also to expand into other sectors.

What you will do:

As the Regional Facilities Contracts Manager you will provide ongoing services to existing clients as well as expand the business through partnerships with our construction teams.  You will create quotes to provide services both through direct employees and through subcontractors. 

At King and Moffatt we pride ourselves on the provision of outstanding quality and as such we adhere to all relevant operations and maintenance standards across HVAC; Generators; Electrical services; Fire protection systems and so on.  You are required to ensure that we continue to meet and exceed these standards.

While the business in the UK is already very successful we intend to actively expand the number of clients and the overall volume of services. This will be done primarily through the Regional Facilities Contracts Manager working directly with our construction team leads where you will offer the company services to a range of existing and new clients. You are expected to be the key person in driving the delivery of this new work.

You will lead of team of facilities professionals and you will report directly to the UK Business Unit Director.  You and your team will manage both the offering and the delivery of all facilities services on behalf of King and Moffatt as a whole and you will manage the team that delivers those services. 


Qualifications :

  • The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong track record of managing and delivering hard facility services to a range of clients. 
  • You will have the ability to show that you have a clear understanding of how to price and deliver facility services.
  • Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of people management. 
  • There will be multiple jobs running concurrently across the UK and as such you need to be able to show that you have managed many jobs at one time.
  • MIWFM is certainly an advantage as is degree level qualifications in related fields.  However experience and a proven track record will also be considered.
