Job Description
- Projector flat panel screen installation and calibration
- The management of van stock and tools as well as van maintenance and appearance
- Meet with the project manager to ensure timeline and expectations.
- Communicate effectively with and take direction from Lead Technicians and Project Manager
- Review sales order product list and scope of work prior to deploying equipment
- Clarify final placement of key components with communication from PM or customer
- Trim out speakers CAT5/6 coax and camera placements
- Installation of inceiling/inwall speaker installation
- Install/Setup home and light business network systems
- Set up preconfigure and program networks control systems cameras and NVRs
- Guardianship and preservation of client confidentiality and network/home security
- Communicate with Project Manager on schedule and expected completion dates
- Daily updates to project documentation and work orders in job management software
- Accurate time clock entries and job costing
- Make decisions and be held accountable to Time and Materials
- Fiscal responsibility for all assets assigned and property within Technicians care
- Customer service including the ability to work with high profile and high demand customers
- Guardianship and preservation of client confidentiality and network/home security
- Adherence to state and federal laws including adherence to traffic laws
- Must understand all systems including audio video security lighting and integration of all installed brands.
- Basic wiring and connectivity skills as it pertains to low voltage standards. Troubleshooting skills are essential.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to become competent in inhouse job management software.
- Attention to detail particularly regarding key component placement & system wiring
- Local travel to job sites required
- On call rotation maybe required
- Flexibility to meet customer demands outside of normal working hours
- Able to independently lift items up to 50 pounds
- Capable of sitting standing and kneeling for extended periods of time
- Must adhere to state and federal laws as well as abide by traffic laws while using company vehicle and/or on company business
- Available to work 8am5pm Monday Friday; with flexibility for on call rotations which may include occasional evenings and weekends
