You will be a member of a multidisciplinary team that provides evidencedbased psychology services to the clients/patients of St John of God Health Care (SJGHC). Ensures practice is in accordance to the Psychology Board of Australia Code of Ethics and SJGHC policies and guidelines.
As Grade 2 Psychologist you are expected to work independently and demonstrate a specialist level of knowledge and depth of experience. The Grade 2 is expected to initiate and participate in teaching training research and quality activities to supervise students and supervise and mentor junior caregivers.
As Grade 3Senior Psychologist you are responsible for the development and delivery of innovative programs that provide highlevel clinical care to patients/clients in groups and an individual basis across a variety of acute and psychiatric specialties.
The Position
Provides individualised and group clinical care based on professional training reflecting current ethical clinical practice as required.
Provides advanced level Psychology services including a range of individualised and group clinical care based on professional training reflecting current ethical clinical practice as required.
Provides comprehensive assessment and care planning monitoring client/patient progress adjusting treatment accordingly for complex management.
Liaise with multidisciplinary team to promote effective communication including verbal and written feedback to referring Doctor.
Maintains appropriate clinical records reflecting adherence to hospital policies ACHS and legal requirements.
Contributes to the design and implementation of programs relevant to the needs of clients and current clinical practice.
Maintain a sound working knowledge of best practice supervision practices; competency based learning plans and ethics around supervision.
You will Registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA) and
experience/ability to provide group programs and individual therapy to child adolescent and adult patients/clients presenting with a myriad of concerns.
To succeed as grade 3 you will have minimum of five years experience responsible for the supervision of other psychologists and/or engaged in work requiring specialist knowledge and skill or involving a significant degree of administration policy and/or planning involvement.

We can offer you
Salary Grade 3: $108995 to $122388(pro rata for parttime) plus 11.5% superannuation
Salary Grade 2: $93132 to $107250(pro rata for parttime) plus 11.5% superannuation
Casual rate Grade 2: $58.72 $67.62 per hour(inclusive of casual loading) plus 11.5% superannuation
Casual positions available
Permanent part time one day per week.
