Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be an experienced and licensed teacher who has demonstrated exemplary teaching and instructional leadership skills with a particular emphasis on integrating student assessment and technology for the use of instruction. The teacher will have also completed the Mastery Connect train the trainer professional development as well as experience using Google Classroom.
Program Lead Responsibilities:
The lead teachers classroom will serve as a model classroom for effective instruction using student assessment and technology to drive instruction. In addition to a full teaching load the lead will plan and facilitate new teacher orientation sessions professional development sessions as well as provide oneonone support focused on Mastery Connect technology and curriculum integration and Google Classroom for ELC faculty throughout the school year. Support the integration of Mastery Connect and Google Classroom into the ELC instructional planning process. The lead will support the organization and data collection of common formative and summative assessments and quarterly data cycles. In conjunction with the ELC Leadership team the lead teacher will collect and analyze assessment data to inform instruction and professional development. The Lead Teacher may help plan facilitate and/or participate in PLCs faculty meetings PD Chelsea Professional Learning Academies and New Teacher Days on and Google Classroom as needed. This open position will be filled with an existing classroom teacher from the ELC who will receive the lane change for the extra workload. Responsibilities extend beyond the regular school day/school year.
