Job Description
We are hiring multiple Junior IT Support Technicians to support daytoday ICT operations across various sites in Kildare and Wicklow. This is an ideal opportunity for candidates with at least 2 years handson experience or a Level 6 ICT qualification who are eager to grow their skills in a dynamic fieldbased environment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide firstline technical support to staff and students

Set up and support devices including desktops laptops tablets projectors and AV equipment

Reimage and configure devices using standard procedures and tools
-
Troubleshoot software driver antivirus and firewall issues
-
Support WiFi troubleshooting and basic network diagnostics

Assist with physical ICT tasks such as moving and mounting equipment
-
Install approved software and prepare devices for recycling or reallocation
-
Support exam and accessibility setups in educational environments

Provide assistance for phone systems and warranty support issues

Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to the IT knowledge base
Essential Requirements
-
Either a Level 6 NFQ qualification in ICT or 5 years relevant IT experience
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical support or helpdesk environment

Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently
-
Full drivers licence and access to a vehicle to travel between sites
-
Must be able to present qualification and/or experience verification upon request
Contract Details

2year fixedterm contractor roles (multiple positions available)

Travel required to various sites across Kildare and Wicklow

Day rate to be proposed by applicant
