25OTH30 Summer Dual Credit Teacher

LOCATION: Conestoga College 299 Doon Valley Dr Kitchener ON

DATES & HOURS: July 2 2025 July 16 2025

FEDERATION AFFILIATION: While performing this position you are a member of the Ontario Secondary School teachers Federation representing the District 18 Teachers Bargaining Unit. Union dues will apply.

RATE of PAY: $62.66/hour

JOB SUMMARY:

The successful applicant will work collaboratively with Conestoga College and Continuing Education to:

Maintain interaction and communication with dual credit students and parents

Assist dual credit students in navigating the college environment and accessing college resources and programs

Plan and deliver or coordinate the delivery of supports and services for students in Dual Credit programs including any accommodations specified in Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

Coordinate the exchange of information about students academic progress including marks attendance data learning skill evaluations certificates of completion

Provide study support and tutoring for dual credit students on an ongoing basis study skills how to access the learning management system etc.

Provide support referral and guidance for unexpected and crisis situations

Work with Conestoga College to register students

QUALIFICATIONS:

Currently a qualified Intermediate/Senior Teacher employed by Wellington Catholic DSB or Upper Grand DSB

Previous experience with Dual Credit programs will be considered an asset
