NRDC is a nonprofit environmental advocacy organization. We use law science and the support of 3.1 million members and online activists to protect the planets wildlife and wild places and to ensure the rights of all people to clean air clean water and healthy communities. NRDC was founded in 1970 and our people helped write some of Americas bedrock environmental laws including the Clean Water Act and many of the implementing regulations. POSITION SUMMARY
The E2 Senior Manager Media and Strategic Communications is responsible for developing and executing E2s media and communications strategy. This role will lead coordination of our staff members and partners to build a unified nonpartisan business voice for climate and clean energy policies at the federal and state levels and develop and execute effective strategies to deliver our message in social media traditional media film and audio.
Reporting directly to E2s Executive Director and collaborating closely with E2s Director of Research and Publications this role will secure media coverage of our widely cited reports and research as well as help identify new ways to amplify these and other E2 resources. This role will also shape communications with donors and potential funders identify opportunities to spread E2s message and advance E2s commitment to diversity equity and inclusion; our support of young entrepreneurs and our nonpartisan approach. This is a limited term two year position.
