We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Cafe Supervisor to join our team. In this role you will oversee daily operations ensuring that our caf runs smoothly and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for managing staff maintaining quality standards and driving sales in a fastpaced environment. What Do We Value
- Supervise daily operations of the caf during your shift ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Manage and train staff on food handling customer service and sales techniques.
- Ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation are maintained at all times.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Utilize POS systems (including lightspeed POS) for transactions and reporting.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health regulations.
- Implement promotional strategies to drive sales and enhance customer experience.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of previous experience in food service or caf management.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Proficiency in math for cash handling and inventory with food preparation techniques and food safety regulations.
- Experience with POS systems; lightspeed POS experience is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Flexibility: Ability to work varied shifts including mornings evenings weekends and holidays.
Physical Demands Prolonged periods of being stand and working on computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds.
Work Authorization Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
