Job Summary
The Request For Proposal (RFP) Coordinator will support the development and submission of federal
and SLED RFP responses ensuring compliance with all requirements and deadlines. This role will work
closely with internal stakeholders including sales legal and subject matter experts to collect necessary
content and documentation. As workload permits the RFP Coordinator may also assist in commercial
RFP responses.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Review and analyze RFP requirements to ensure compliance and completeness.
Coordinate and gather necessary content from internal stakeholders ensuring timely
submission.
Format proofread and edit RFP responses to maintain consistency and professionalism.
Manage RFP response timelines tracking deadlines and ensuring all deliverables are
met.
Maintain a database of standard proposal content and responses for efficiency.
Support commercial RFP responses as bandwidth permits.
Assist in postsubmission followup and tracking of RFP outcomes.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in business Communications English Public Administration or related fields.
3 years of experience in proposal coordination technical writing or RFP response
management.
24 years of experience in RFP coordination or proposal writing.
Proficiency in English required.
Experience in responding to federal SLED or commercial RFPs. Strong attention to detail and
ability to work under tight deadlines.
Working knowledge of concepts practices and procedures and ability to use in varied situations.
Experience with proposal automation tools (e.g. RFPIO Loopio or Qvidian).
Familiarity with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) and SLED procurement policies.
Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) certification.
Physical Requirements
Job requires employees to sit for extended periods of time without being able to leave
the work area.
