About the role
We are going through and exciting period of change and are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Engineer (Backend) to join our Software Engineering team. You will work as part of our exciting greenfield tech hub covering all facets of technology.
As a Senior Software Engineer you will work closely with your cross functional team to design and implement new features and products whilst bringing ideas energy and leadership to the table.

Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain robust highquality software solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver valuable features
- Participate in code design and test reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability
- Apply DevOps practices for continuous integration testing and deployment
- Integrate applications with monitoring and support tools to ensure reliability
- Support teammates through mentoring and sharing technical knowledge
- Contribute to Agile team processes helping to improve ways of working
- Use datadriven methods to test assumptions and iterate on product features
- Provide and receive constructive feedback to continuously raise software standards
- Troubleshoot issues across the development lifecycle and support ongoing improvements
- Explore and recommend new technologies to enhance team capabilities
What youll bring
Skills and Experience
Strong professional experience with TypeScript focusing on building scalable and maintainable applications
Experience with developing efficient and scalable backend services
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
- Experience with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL MySQL)
- Familiarity with Docker Kubernetes
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines
- Understanding of software engineering best practices (version control unit/integration testing)
- Excellent problemsolving and communication skills
- Experience working within an Agile/Scrum team
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
Nice to have
- Experience with Java
- Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD
- Experience with microservices
