The Role:

You will be responsible for the UX product design within S&P Ratings Technology. The ideal candidate will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problemsolving skills and independent selfdirection coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. This individual excels at providing both highly analytical as well as highly creative ideas to a design engagement. The candidate will also have extensive experience in a fastpaced and innovative development environment. A thorough understanding of contemporary usercentered design methodologies is a must

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Conduct user experience research to understand customer needs opportunities and pain points.

  • Define and execute a user experience strategy that aligns with the business and product goals.

  • Understand industry trends to drive product design and innovation.

  • Collaborate closely with business and product stakeholders to understand their requirements priorities and constraints.

  • Serve as a bridge between the UX team and other departments ensuring effective communication and alignment.

  • Develop and communicate a clear product vision for the new experience tailored to analysts.

  • Create and manage a product roadmap that reflects the user experience strategy.

  • Lead user research efforts including surveys interviews and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.

  • Develop mockups user flows wireframes prototypes and user interfaces that provide an intuitive and efficient experience for analysts.

  • Establish and promote design guidelines best practices and standards.

  • Gather and review UX focused metrics and provide recommendations based on those metrics.

What Were Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience in the field of user experience design and interaction design/development.

  • Bachelors degree in Human Computer Interaction or related field

  • Experience in product design

  • Experience working across departments to define manage and prioritize work.

  • Excellent communication presentation and analytical skills.

  • Experience designing large scale enterprise and workflow applications.

  • Experience creating wireframes visual mockups graphics and user workflows.

  • Experience with user interface design patterns and standard UCD methodologies

  • Collaborated with crossfunctional teams to bring products to market.

  • Experience with crossbrowser compatibility and performance

  • Good understanding of Mobile and responsive design

  • Passion for technology and design and the drive to stay on top of industry trends and best practices.

  • Knowledge and/or experience with following technologies are a plus: CSS HTML JavaScript Angular React.
