Key Responsibilities:
Manage the procurement process for mechanical equipment materials and services as per project requirements.
Prepare and review purchase orders contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with specifications and company policies.
Coordinate with engineering and project teams to determine procurement needs and technical specifications.
Source and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors ensuring quality cost and delivery targets are met.
Conduct technical and commercial bid evaluations and recommend supplier selection.
Negotiate pricing terms and delivery schedules with vendors.
Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Track and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any supply chain issues.
Ensure documentation and records are properly maintained for audits and reporting.
Stay updated on market trends and emerging technologies to support effective procurement strategies.
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
4 to 5 years of proven experience in procurement within the mechanical or industrial sector.
Strong understanding of mechanical equipment materials and international procurement processes.
Proficient in ERP systems and procurement software.
Excellent negotiation communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
