Regular Hours: 12:00 PM 9:00 PM
Training Hours (3 months): 7:00 AM 4:00 PM
Must be available to train at all locations within the DFW area.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Operations Management: Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales goals improving store profitability and ensuring efficient daily operations.
Team Leadership: Supervise and train staff including cashiers leads and other team members ensuring they understand and meet company standards for customer service and sales.
Inventory Control: Oversee inventory transactions maintain inventory accuracy and ensure timely stock replenishment in accordance with company guidelines.
Store Presentation & Marketing: Ensure the store s visual standards and marketing strategies align with company objectives including organizing merchandise displays and promotions.
Compliance & Policy Enforcement: Ensure adherence to company policies procedures and safety standards reporting any issues to the District Manager.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate daily records including sales damages deposits attendance employee discounts and new hire paperwork.
POS & Financial Reporting: Assist with POS issues perform data entry for Green Sheet and complete weekly financial reports.
Floor Management: Ensure the sales floor is wellorganized shoppable and reflects company standards. Update displays and grid walls as required.
Supervisory Duties:
Oversee the daily workflow of the store assigning tasks to staff to ensure timely and accurate task completion.
Conduct employee performance evaluations offering constructive feedback and development opportunities.
Assist with payroll processing through ADP and manage attendance issues including issuing points and writeups.
Prepare staff schedules to ensure sufficient coverage during all shifts.
Ensure runners meet accuracy and rack time standards.
Skills & Abilities:
Excellent leadership and communication skills to engage with customers and motivate staff.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities.
Indepth knowledge of store operations policies and customer service standards.
Ability to handle administrative tasks with accuracy including record keeping and data entry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
A minimum of three years of retail or management experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to traverse the warehouse and sales floor to observe and manage inventory.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
Working Conditions:
This position can be highpressure and the Assistant Store Manager is expected to meet sales goals and store targets while maintaining a positive motivated team.
Flexibility is required as the Assistant Store Manager must be available to train at various locations within the DFW area during the 3month training period.
