Are you an experienced electrical systems thinker with a passion for power distribution drive systems energy conversion and storage Do you thrive in complex project environments and enjoy working within a multidisciplinary team Then we are looking for you as a Senior System Engineer E&I at KenzFigee.
What will you do
As a Senior System Engineer E&I you play a key role in translating customer and system requirements into robust electrical power systems. Youll join our Engineering department (approx. 30 engineers) and be part of a dedicated E&I team of five specialists.
Youll be responsible for the conceptual and basic design managing the full technical process from specification to verification. As this is a new role youll have the opportunity to pioneer and shape the direction of E&I engineering within our organization.
Your responsibilities:
Drafting system requirement specifications (incl. ISO15288);
Designing and specifying AC/DC power systems drives and energy storage systems;
Performing studies including load flow voltage drop harmonics short circuit (AC/DC) and selectivity analysis;
Preparing technical procurement specifications and coordinating suppliers;
Managing and reviewing the work of (detail) engineers and third parties;
Integrating subsystems such as CCTV lightning protection AOL HVAC etc.;
Preparing verification procedures and test plans (EITR FAT commissioning);
Actively contributing to standardization knowledge sharing and process optimization within the team.
Qualifications :
What do you bring
At least 10 years of experience as a System Engineer E&I in multidisciplinary projects;
Higher professional or academic education (HBO/MSc) in Electrical Engineering;
Strong experience in power distribution drives and energy system studies;
Solid understanding of systems engineering across all design phases;
Experience with SKM Powertools ETAP and/or MATLAB/Simpowersystems;
Familiarity with Eplan and Autodesk is a plus;
Strong communication and organizational skills;
Independent precise and takes ownership;
Proven experience with supplier management and outsourcing.
