Job Description

The Role

The Salesforce Functional Consultant Sales & Service serves as the vital link between SEEKs business operations and the technical facets of the CRM platform ensuring seamless and efficient configurations that cater to the companys specific needs. This role delves deep into understanding both the current and projected requirements translating these needs into efficient Salesforce solutions that directly contribute to the success and operational efficacy of the business.

Working with the Engineering Manager the Salesforce Functional Consultant works closely across multifunctional business teams including sales customer service and financial operations spanning multiple geographical regions. Their expertise in the Salesforce platform enables them to bridge the gap between sophisticated business processes and technical solutions facilitating effectivecollaboratorr engagement continuous improvement and ensuring the overall health and maturity of the platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Collaboration: Engage with collaborators to gather understand and prioritise Salesforce implementation requirements ensuring configured solutions are tailored appropriately for SEEK.
  • Facilitation & Prototyping: Conduct workshops to discern business needs and convert them into Salesforce solutions followed by prototyping and showcasing for feedback.
  • Configuration & Enhancement: Efficiently configure Salesforce modules using declarative tools such as Process Builder Flows and Schema Builder promoting efficient performance and userfriendly designs.
  • Declarative Solutions: Prioritise declarative (nonprogrammatic) improvements identifying where they serve as efficient alternatives to programmatic methods.
  • Bridge Between Teams: Act as a liaison between business and technical units ensuring synchronised understanding and execution of requirements.
  • Insights & Reporting: Design construct and sustain Salesforce reports and dashboards offering actionable business insights.
  • Platform Health & Updates: Contribute to platform stability by ensuring your work considers system security data privacy and resilience. Stay abreast of Salesforce releases recommending optimisations.
  • Operational Excellence: Monitor address and resolve Salesforce production issues..
  • Sales & Service Maintenance: Oversee Salesforce CRM functionality ensuring accurate order conversions as well as precise and swift billing operations including revenue recognition and payment processing.
  • Continuous Improvement: Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement seeking feedback and staying updated with the latest Salesforce trends and standard methodologies.
  • Testing enhancement and defects before deploying to production

Qualifications :

Essential Qualifications Skills and Experience

  • Platform Certification: Salesforce Administrator Certification Salesforce Certified Consultant
  • Demonstrable experience as a functional consultant on the Salesforce platform.
  • Handson experience with Salesforce DX and scratch orgs.
  • Consistent track record of facilitating workshops to tease out requirements and prototyping solutions.
  • Strong expertise in Salesforce CRM especially in Lead Management Account Management Opportunity management Case Management Experience Cloud

Other Qualifications Skills and Experience

  • Proficiency in using the Atlassian suite notably JIRA and Confluence.
  • Shown capability in configuring and using declarative tools on the Salesforce platform such as Flows Process Builder and Schema Builder.
  • Experience in fix and leading Salesforce production incidents.
  • Awareness of integration methodologies and tools (given that indepth integration is handled by the development team).
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant Salesforce Service Cloud

The Salesforce Functional Consultant is an integral member of the CRM Platforms team. The team consist of functional consultants and software engineers wholeade the Salesforce CRM Platform and supporting Services in AWS.

Within this structure the Functional Consultant collaborates closely with data analysts fellow functional consultants and engineers forming a collective force committed to platform excellence.

Operating in an Agile framework this team is driven by the ethos of continuous improvement and innovation in the marketing technology realm. Regular Agile rituals like standups sprint reviews and retrospectives underpin the teams workflow fostering transparency and iterative improvement.
