The Logistics function in Purchasing Development enables consistently high & stable availability to lowest cost by leading logistics development together with IKEA Suppliers contributing to value chain development with a total cost approach. Our function is also responsible for leading logistics competence development agenda collaborating with IKEA Suppliers to meet business needs.
The role of System Support within Purchasing Development Logistics is to support suppliers with the ambition to optimize usage of business solutions available and contribute to the development of digital solutions of the future.
So what will you do
This means that you will work with both communication & learning Business Solution maintenance & development. You will be there in the full life cycle of the interaction with the business solution from securing trainings in using the system to handling ad hoc incidents and collect development needs to share with the solution owner!
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role we believe that you have strong background in our business solutions (ECIS EDI ESP) & the working methods/business processes connected to it.
Since working methods/business processes are neither static nor set in stone there will be continued development to ensure stronger focus on users to facilitate business. You probably already have an idea about how we could achieve this!
This role is very much about knowledge transfer and enabling our business. We believe you have the ability to support inspire and communicate clearly with people and can build trustful relations. That you are a good listener and presenter with great facilitation and trainer skills. We also believe that you are analytical & structured while keeping the holistic perspective in mind.

This position can be based in one of our Supply Area sites in Europe.
