Job Description

Director of Revenue Management (M/F/X)

As Director of Revenue Management you will hold a key role in driving the hotels overall performance. At the intersection of analysis strategy and decisionmaking you will orchestrate the delicate balance between demand pricing and profitability all while ensuring the guest experience remains at the heart of every action.

With your expertise in revenue management your sharp forecasting skills and your ability to lead a team you will directly contribute to the commercial success and prestige.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the General Manager responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to:

  • Consistently offer professional warm and engaging service
  • Manage the Revenue Department
  • Handle demand forecasting and availability to maximize overall hotel revenue
  • Maximize room revenue by mastering all booking channels managing inventory and setting rates accordingly
  • Monitor group and transient booking pace to determine pricing and availability controls across all distribution sources
  • Track key performance indicators and external market data to identify revenue opportunities
  • Apply sales strategies across all distribution channels
  • Collaborate closely with Reservations Front Office and Sales to ensure the highest level of guest service while optimizing profitability
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of statistical data entered in the system
  • Guarantee accurate preparation and presentation of analytical reports
  • Configure rates in central reservation systems and across all distribution platforms
  • Ensure optimal productivity of all team members by preparing schedules and adhering to budget guidelines
  • Play an active role in strategic planning marketing initiatives and budget processes
  • Recruit and train the Reservations team
  • Understand and apply LQA technical and emotional standards and ensure your team applies them consistently
  • Stay informed on industry trends and assess their impact on demand and performance
  • Prepare and present weekly analytical performance reports
  • Adhere to departmental policies and procedures
  • Keep your profile up to date in INES
  • Participate in an annual performance review with your manager
  • Commit to service quality discretion and complete honesty
  • Maintain a professional attitude smile and remain calm at all times
  • Comply with ergonomic health hygiene and safety standards
  • Follow all departmental and company service policies and procedures
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

 


Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role required
  • Previous experience in luxury hospitality in a similar position
  • Fluency in English and French; additional languages are an asset.
  • Degree in Hospitality Business or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Microsoft Excel and Opera PMS required;
  • Strong interpersonal and problemsolving skills
  • Highly responsible and reliable
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong team spirit
  • Focused on guest needs with a calm and courteous attitude at all times
