Job Description
Your contribution to something big:
Join our logistics planning team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and processes within Boschs supply chain. In this role you will be part of a crossfunctional and international environment collaborating with suppliers customers and production units both in Portugal and across Europe.
You will:
- Plan and procure materials from internal and external suppliers;
- Ensure high material availability while optimizing inventory levels;
- Monitor key logistics KPIs (e.g. Service Level Inventory Level Claims) and propose corrective actions;
- Escalate availability risks early to avoid disruptions;
- Support new product launches and engineering changes (ECRs);
- Maintain accurate master data and align on initial stock requirements.
Qualifications :
What distinguishes you:
- Education
- Masters degree in industrial engineering and management Business Economics or related fields;
- Masters degree in industrial engineering and management Business Economics or related fields;
- Experience
- Previous experience in supply chain logistics or operations planning (preferred but not mandatory);
- Experience with ERP systems particularly SAP (preferably SAP S/4HANA);
- Knowhow
- Understanding of Lean principles and logistics planning processes;
- Proficiency in MS Office tools especially Excel;
- Languages
- Fluent in Portuguese and English (spoken and written);
- Fluent in Portuguese and English (spoken and written);
- Working Style and Methods
- Organized detailoriented and able to work independently as well as in a team;
- Strong analytical and problemsolving mindset;
- Personality
- Proactive adaptable and driven to deliver results;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
