You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWere looking for a Regulatory Compliance Manager to join our growing team to manage our regulatory reporting function and enable Wise to take the business to the next level in accordance with our regulatory obligations as we continue to pioneer new ways for people and businesses to send spend and manage their money across borders and currencies. The role is based in Tallinn Estonia.
WHAT YOULL BE DOING
Leading a small team including hiring and performance management guiding through priorities and deliverables and unblocking challenges for the regulatory reporting domain;
Ensuring timely and accurate completion and submission of regulatory reports;
Acting as a subject matter expert on regulatory reporting and notifications requirements related to our Belgian Payment Institutions license ensuring requirements are clearly defined;
Owning the regulatory reporting oversight framework that enables to meet those requirements including Policies and Procedures;
Leading on our incident reporting obligations serving as a point of contact for authorities during incidents and crisis situations and helping Wise develop a mature incident response.
Setting standards for data collection validation reporting error management and resubmissions record keeping reporting risk management and assurance processes fostering a culture of accountability and precision within the regulatory reporting domain;
Managing the discussions with recipient authorities on regulatory reporting topics providing relevant commentary building trust and mitigating potential regulatory concerns.
YOULL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO
Manage the regulatory reporting oversight and support the wider regulatory engagement and oversight.
Develop an indepth knowledge of Wises customers and products and be part of our mission to make money without borders the new normal.
Help keep our Products safe and compliant.
Choose your own path to impact and success youll be part of the regulatory compliance team of our Belgian entity but you will be empowered to have ownership from day one.
Qualifications :
Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to EEA financial services industry (preferably payments industry)
Previous experience in financial or prudential reporting and/or regulatory engagement. Or strong experience in managing compliance operations teams and establishing or improving operational processes
Demonstrated critical thinking and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Composure and accountability in challenging situations.
Ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams and represent regulatory requirements argumentation and risks compellingly.
Experience managing or mentoring other employees and enabling them to develop their knowledge and skills.
