The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of procurement activity in support of purchasing general material and construction supplies renting equipment processing invoices and other duties as assigned. The Procurement Coordinator will process incoming requisitions track order deliveries release material from existing purchase orders expedite material and supplies and issue purchase orders.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
General work environment sitting for extended periods standing walking typing carrying pushing bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.
Noise level is typically low to medium; it can be loud on a job site.
Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.

WHAT YOULL DO:
Receive and review field requisitions for completeness and accuracy; conferring with requestor when clarification is required.
Secure vendor quotations on requisitions.
Performs leveling of vendor quotations.
Processes requisitions for purchase.
Release material from prenegotiated blanket purchase orders maintaining tracking logs of released material and quantities released.
Assist in generating submittal information for requested commodities supplies or equipment working with requesting department to identify needs.
Issue change orders as required in accordance with revised Bill of Materials(BOMs).
Expedite and ensure timely delivery and back orders followup to maintain optimum field production.
Handle return material to ensure proper and timely credit to the project.
Review and approve invoices. Interface with vendor and A/P to resolve invoice problems.
Perform additional duties as directed by Procurement Team Lead or Procurement Manager.

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years
in purchasing or related field in the electrical industry
Can be a combination of education training and relevant experience
WHAT YOULL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
Skill in both verbal and written communication
Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel etc.); Oracle preferred
Prioritize and manage multiple tasks changing priorities as necessary
Work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
Oral and written communication skills as required for the position
Selfmotivated proactive and an effective team player
Interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees both management and staff alike vendors clients and others
TRAVEL:
Periodic travel may be required for jobsite visits or training.
