Job Summary:
The Assistant Director of Human Resources plays a key support role within a collaborative team committed to the districts mission of engaging our community inspiring students and preparing graduates. This position supports the Executive Director of HR in the overall leadership of human resources operations contributing to recruitment hiring training and employee retention. The Assistant Director works closely with district leaders school administrators and labor partners to help cultivate a workforce that reflects the districts values and meets the evolving needs of staff and students. A focus on professional growth equity and service excellence is central to this role.

Work Environment:
The work environment includes a mix of office school and community settings. Flexible hours including some evening and weekend meetings may be required. The role involves frequent interaction with staff students families and external partners in a dynamic and occasionally highpressure environment. The employee must be able to adapt to frequent interruptions strict deadlines and occasional exposure to conflict or illness. Physical requirements include occasional bending standing and movement within school and office facilities.
The Assistant Director of HR will be evaluated periodically by the Executive Director of Human Resources or their designee according to district procedures. The evaluation will focus on the performance of essential job functions and contribution to department and district goals.
