The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is currently seeking a Deputy Fire Chief to join the team in Berkeley MO.
The Boeing Fire Department is the worlds largest Industrial fire department. Boeing firefighters provide a safe working environment and are ready to respond to emergencies and disasters at our Boeing sites. The Boeing St. Louis Region has a diverse footprint with fire services supporting three sites. The St. Charles weapons Facility St. Louis main manufacturing facility hosting F15 F18 T7A Phantom Works and 777X and Mascoutah IL. supporting the MQ25 program.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages and integrates employee activities across more than one security or fire protection discipline including industrial security operations fire protection operations uniformed security operations fire protection engineering investigations access administration emergency preparedness automatedinformation security systems education and training and special projects
Develops and executes project and process plans implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
Acquires resources for projects and processes provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes
Manages develops and motivates employees
BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5 years of experience leading a team
5 years of experience in Aircraft Rescue Firefighting
5 years of experience in fire inspection and/or fire prevention
State IFSAC or Proboard Firefighter 1 certification
State IFSAC or Proboard Firefighter 2 certification
Current National Registry or Missouri State Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification
Current Hazardous Material Technician Certification
Current Fire Officer 1 Certification
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher
Fire Inspector 1 and 2 Certifications
Fire Instructor 1 and 2 Certifications
Fire Officer 2 Certification
Experience as a Brady/Tiscor Administrator
Experience with Microsoft Office Suites
