What youll do
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports for European and American entities ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS/US GAAP/local GAAP requirements.
- Assist in the monthly quarterly and annual close processes including journal entries accruals and prepayments.
- Provide accurate and timely reconciliation of balance sheet accounts including intercompany balances and foreign currency transactions.
- Support statutory reporting external audits and tax filings liaising with auditors and tax advisors as needed.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations including VAT GST corporate tax and transfer pricing requirements.
- Maintain and improve internal controls financial policies and processes to support compliance and efficiency.
- Identify and support opportunities for system improvements and automation initiatives within finance to enhance efficiency accuracy and compliance.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by management.
What youll need
- Qualified accountant (ACA ACCA CIMA or equivalent) with 35 years of experience in a financial accounting role.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS US GAAP and local statutory reporting requirements.
- Experience working in an international multientity environment preferably within Europe & The Americas.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP Oracle NetSuite or similar) and strong Excel skills.
- Previous experience working with external auditors and tax authorities.
- Proven experience of month end close processes including account reconciliations and posting of journals preparation of working papers to support balances
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities within tight deadlines and to selfmanage your workload in a hybrid home/office environment and culture.
- Good understanding of accrual accounting and general accounting principles
