Job Description

Amazon Grocery Logistics is looking for a Program Manager with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own strategic tactical and crossfunctional programs. The ideal candidate for this role is excited about the opportunity to make customerfacing changes and drive cost improvements for the business. This role require scoping and creating project plans developing processes coordinating and driving execution and communicating to senior management on status risks and process/product changes. Crossteam coordination project management and executive presentation skills are essential.
A highly analytical candidate with program/project management or grocery operations experience is an ideal fit as this role will require partnership with multiple teams (Tech Operations Analytics Finance Workforce Planning Delivery and other teams) to lead influence and support business critical projects and initiatives. Robust understanding of fulfillment operations including order fulfillment inventory flows constrained warehouse assets (capacity and labor) inventory health and long term roadmaps will help develop new innovations within complex ultrafast operations.
You will be expected to interact with seniorlevel audiences to provide updates and make strategic recommendations that will achieve the longterm vision for optimal balance between business need and operator experience. Documentation of requirements project management and crossteam coordination skills are essential.


Key job responsibilities
Designing and modeling new operations processes for developing business needs to prove quality cost and scalability goals as critical outputs.
Gathering and analyzing data across inventory health and shrink in partnership with cross functional teams.
Rethinking end to end operations to optimize for waste reduction and efficiency.
Building strong partnership with operations field leaders to understand improvement opportunities.
Analyzing and solving operational barriers with a focus on understanding root causes and driving forward solves.
Leading project teams to plan organize and execute complex projects across multiple organizations and stakeholders to enable the launch of new projects and processes.
Innovating to improve customer experience and continuously remove cost from our fulfillment network.
Designing new metrics and enhancing existing metrics to support the future state of the business.


5 years of program or project management experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
2 years of extensive excel (including VBA pivot tables array functions power pivots etc.) and tableau / dashboard experience
2 year SQL experience

2 years of driving process improvements experience
Masters degree or MBA in business operations human resources adult education organizational development instructional design or related field
Strong proficiency in business intelligence including creation of complex queries using SQL statistical analysis validation of data sets and distillation of data into actionable insights
Advanced proficiency in Excel and building out a suite of reporting
Experienced in making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
Familiarity with leading large scale process ideation through implementation to solve technical or data driven challenges.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
