The successful candidate will deliver engaging and effective instruction aligned with the Core Knowledge curriculum in the middle grades and may also teach courses within the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) program at the high school ResponsibilitiesDeliver daily instruction to five science classes using Core Knowledge and/or IB and execute lesson plans aligned with clear learning objectives and school and monitor student progress through assessments report cards and progress standardized tests as required by the department and school weekly with Science Department colleagues including the Department Chair to ensure instructional consistency and datadriven and enforce classroom management expectations consistently and in faculty meetings school functions and ongoing professional the school community by completing additional duties as assigned by the Science Department Chair or Assistant degree in Physics Chemistry Biology General Science or a related field (required).Strong communication skillsboth written and to analyze student data and apply it to instructional to fostering a collaborative inclusive and academically focused classroom with current educational laws standards and best ability to develop and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to student with assessmentdriven instruction and student growth organizational time management and multitasking pass applicable Massachusetts Tests for Educator Licensure (MTEL) within one year of and EvaluationThis position reports to the Science Department Chair and is subject to annual performance evaluation.
