Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree preferred but will consider Associates Degree and relevant experience.
REPORTS TO:Building Principal
JOB GOAL:To provide academic support to students within the classroom setting in a high school grades 8 through 12. This is a fulltime school year position.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works within a classroom setting with individual students or small groups of students toprovide interventions and supports in English math science social studies and other subject areas.
- Collaborates with classroom teachers toplan and implement data informed supports and interventions.
- Oversees the classroom in the absence of the teacher.
- Performs other needed duties and responsibilities as assigned by teachers and/or the school administration.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:Per Contract.
