Job Description
The W.E.B. Du Bois Department of AfroAmerican Studies is seeking a fulltime temporary nontenure track (NTT) Lecturer for theAcademic Year. This is a temporary benefitted one year appointment that will teach a 33 class load concentrating in Politics and History. The preliminary schedule of classes to be taught is: Fall Semester AA132 African American History I AA161 Introduction to Black Politics AA390S Strike the Empire Back and in the Spring SemesterAA236 History of the Civil Rights Movement AA264 Foundations of Black Education in the US AA390T Mapping the Black Freedom Movement. This is a 100% FTE (fulltime equivalent) position.

Additional Information
This is a oneyear temporary and benefitted nontenure track Lecturer position at 100%FTE. The position will remain open until filled. Salary is commensurate with experience.
