Key Responsibilities
- Class A surface modeling for both interior and exterior vehicle parts.
- Surface development based on 2D/3D data
- Deliver CAD data aligned with program milestones (PS FC KLoops FAA) while meeting precise tolerance levels.
- Regularly update and publish data in TeamCenter including QChecker reports and C3PNGcompliant structures.
- Coordinate with teams (Design Engineering Clay Studio etc.) to validate and adjust surface geometry.
- Lead and manage Digital Surface Reviews (DSRs).
- Track progress via Surface Tracker (SharePoint) and provide weekly status reports.
- Maintain onsite presence in Dearborn (Project Leader) for technical coordination and participation in meetings.
Qualifications :
Masters degree in mechanics mechatronics with than 5 years of experience in Class A surfacing for automotive applications and :

- Ability to interpret design intent (artistic and technical understanding)
- Autonomous detailoriented and teamoriented mindset
- Full compliance with Fords confidentiality and security standards
Software Proficiency:
- ICEM Surf Alias CATIA ISD / ICEM VRED (for visualization)
Expertise:
- High proficiency in Class A surfacing tools (both concept and production levels)
- Strong 3D visualization and surface quality assessment skills
- Solid knowledge of feasibility requirements and manufacturing tolerances
- Ability to create G2 / G3 continuous surfaces with Class A visual quality
- Familiarity with PLM workflows (TeamCenter) and data release processes
- Experience with C3PNG structure publishing and QChecker validation
