Job Description
Shift Supervisor Durban Mobeni Salary R25000 to R30000.00 (based on experience)
Working Hours: Shift work (06h00 18h00 / 18h00 06h00)
Type: Permanent Position
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Shift Supervisor to join our team in Mobeni. This permanent role requires a person with experience in production or manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee manufacturing and transfer processes in factory operations
-
Ensure production efficiency and monitor each station for optimum performance
-
Enforce safety policies and conduct employee training for productivity and safety
-
Inspect product quality to ensure standards are met
-
Maintain communication between management and staff
-
Manage resource flow ensuring timely delivery of materials
-
Analyze staffing requirements and ensure production schedules are met
Qualifications:
-
Grade 12 (Essential)
-
Diploma/Degree in a related field (Desirable)
-
12 years of experience as a production supervisor or in a similar role
-
Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
Skills & Attributes:
-
Strong leadership and organizational skills
-
Ability to work under pressure and resolve challenges

Understanding of safety regulations and adherence to them

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Timely completion of production documentation

Daily updates on production metrics

Monitoring of raw material stock levels
