Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Chemical Inventory Management: Maintain realtime inventory of chemicals reagents solvents and reference standards in the QC lab.
Receipt & Storage: Ensure proper receipt labeling segregation and safe storage of chemicals as per SOPs and MSDS guidelines.
Distribution & Issuance: Timely issuance of required chemicals to analysts and maintain proper usage logs and reconciliation records.
MSDS & Safety Compliance: Ensure availability and implementation of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Hazard Communication protocols.
Vendor Coordination: Liaise with approved vendors and procurement for chemical replenishment and ensure timely availability.
Documentation & Records: Maintain logbooks inventory registers and electronic tracking systems as per GMP and data integrity requirements.
Audit Readiness: Ensure the chemical management system is compliant and ready for regulatory inspections (USFDA MHRA WHO EUGMP).
Waste Handling: Coordinate with the EHS/engineering team for safe disposal of expired and hazardous chemicals as per compliance guidelines.
