This role leads the Site Management and Level 1 Commissioning team ensuring sites are run safely on time on budget and to quality standards. It focuses on consistent execution strong team leadership and close collaboration with Project Management Engineering and Supply Chain to drive project success.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Champion site safety: Ensure job sites meet safety laws standards and clientspecific rules. Mentor Site Managers to proactively identify resolve and report safety issues. Review toolbox talks and daily safety logs.
Drive quality delivery: Guarantee installation meets contractual quality standards and meets client expectations.
Own the installation schedule: Ensure projects stay on track. Lead corrective actions when needed.
Control project costs: Monitor subcontractors and manage change orders to keep budgets in check.
Plan smart staffing: Match skilled resources to project needs. Develop internal talent and partner with subcontractors to fill gaps.
Control department budget: Own the Site Management departments budget. Track spend forecast needs and ensure resources align with financial goals.
Develop the team: Build core capabilities through training and development. Mentor for stronger communication and consistent delivery.
Track performance: Maintain reporting on safety hours and resource utilization. Ensure Site Managers submit complete reports and KPIs.
Lead Site Managers: Oversee the team support project execution and enforce process adherence.
Set standards: Maintain and update Site Manager procedures. Ensure job sites are clean organized and tools are managed.
Run kickoff alignment: Attend kickoff meetings to help Site Managers set clear expectations with clients and subcontractors.
Coach for accountability: Ensure Site Managers own their scope understand project milestones and manage vendor documentation.
Support project health: Confirm daily contractor meetings review installation progress and communicate issues early.
Be the expert: Provide handson support resolve problems and guide Site Managers on risk mitigation and client communication.
Elevate delivery: Push teams to exceed expectations and look for valueadd opportunities beyond scope.
Forecast accurately: Review labor estimates with PMs preproject. Ensure timely timesheet and expense submissions.
