Job Description

FIRE! FIRE! FIRE SBA SPECIAL ASSETS (WORKOUT)

Our retained community bank client is actively seeking a highperforming SBA (Small Business Administration) Special Assets Officer to join their team. The Special Assets Officer is responsible for managing the banks portfolio of problem loans including classified nonperforming and distressed assets. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to mitigate risk maximize recoveries and minimize losses while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies. The officer works closely with borrowers legal counsel senior management and other stakeholders to negotiate resolutions restructure loans and oversee foreclosure or liquidation proceedings when necessary. We are looking for an individual with strong analytical skills a deep understanding of SBA lending programs with a specific focus on SBA Acquisition deals and the ability to proactively address potential credit losses.
