You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAs a Trade Sales Manager you will be responsible to develop and maintain strategic longterm trusting relationships with Trade Business owners to accomplish organic growth and longterm company objectives. Key responsibilities include increasing network by acquiring new customers.
In addition you will support the Commercial Director in developing action plans and forecast/budgets for the trade segment.
Drive trade sales growth for decorative coatings through strategic account management and channel development.
Achieve volume value and profitability targets for the assigned geography.
Manage support and motivate the team to achieve budgets and other set objectives.
Engage in regular market visits and develop strong business relationships with all stakeholders including existing/potential traders subdealers painters and contractors.
Understand and implement company policies and monthly trade promotions effectively.
Take prompt action to resolve any trade partner concerns.
Collaborate closely with the Regional Marketing team and Regional Trade Support team on marketing and trade support strategies including budget planning preparation and implementation.
Work with the country Finance and Supply Chain teams on material forecasting and account receivables.
Supervise the CRM usage of team members to ensure the tool is used effectively to improve team planning and efficiency.
Report on market shares market information sales forecasts competitor performance and team productivity.
Improve business profitability by evaluating on the product mix portfolio and promotional activities.
Develop Smart Account Development Plans for key customers to improve their engagement with Hempel.
What were looking for:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Channel Management preferably within the manufacturing or construction materials industry.
Proven capability to lead and motivate team members to ensure efficient execution of trade strategies.
Experience in designing and executing schemes and promotions with a strategic mindset to evaluate the effectiveness of product campaigns and loyalty programs.
Effective use of CRM tools to enhance team planning and efficiency
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Proficiency in MSOffice Suite
