As the IT Domain Specialist your role is key in improving the stability and reliability of our cloud offerings and solutions to ensure continuity of service for our customers. You will be responsible for supporting the endtoend development of key cloud platform and solutions which includes technical design integration requirements delivery and lifecycle management.You are a specialist across and/or within a technology domain and viewed as the goto person in the business to provide technical support in the development and delivery of cloud infrastructure platforms and solutions.

Focus of the Role
As a IT Domain Specialist you apply your broad experience and deep expertise in specific infrastructure platforms and systems technologies utilising agile and/or lean ways of working to deliver the following

What Youll Do
Document and maintain Technology Standards for the Software Development Life Cycle to align with ITIL ISO 27001 and NIST CSF.
Document and maintain Software Engineering Practices supporting Australian requirements and the Telstra community.
Contribute to the design and delivery of complex Cloud Platforms and IT systems.
Oversee deployment optimization from concept to production.
Manage and validate system lifecycle plans identifying improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with technology partners and stakeholders to understand customer needs and drive speed and agility.
Analyze data and stakeholder inputs to inform decisionmaking and ensure quality outcomes.
Apply critical thinking analysis and modeling skills to create solutions that meet business requirements and ensure quality resiliency and continuous improvement.
Assess vendor solutions and manage vendor performance.
Maintain expertise in domain technologies and provide coaching and mentoring to team members.
Encourage innovation simplification and continuous improvement within the team
About You
Expertise in Systems Engineering for Storage Networking and OS.
Experience in Automation CaaS PaaS FaaS IaaS and cloud platforms like GCS and AWS
Proficiency in Scripting Cloud Security and Site Reliability Engineering is essential.
