Geotab is seeking a Digital & Marketing Operations Intern who will be a direct contributor to the Digital Marketing and Marketing Operations teams within the global Marketing division . This role is ideal for someone with a passion for systems automation and datawho also wants to see how those pieces drive real impact and advancement in marketing. What youll do:
As a Digital & Marketing Operations Intern your key area of responsibility will be supporting the digital marketing and marketing operations functions to help drive innovation and change. This role will provide handson experience in both digital marketing and marketing operations with a unique focus on leveraging artificial intelligence to drive innovation. You will collaborate with our team to gather data analyze trends and utilize AI tools to develop and implement cuttingedge marketing programs. This is an exciting opportunity to learn and grow in a fastpaced environment and contribute to the evolution of our marketing strategies. You will work directly with stakeholders across the Marketing organization with primary focus on digital marketing and marketing operations areas. Youll also work with AI platforms LLM image generation to apply these to a marketing context in order to assist the Marketing team to find ways to increase campaign execution process efficiencies and results analysis.
The opportunity

- Fulltime paid internship: Monday Friday37.5hrs/week.

How youll make an impact
AIPowered Content & Campaign Development:
- Research and experiment with various AI tools (e.g. generative AI for content creation data analysis platforms) to support marketing initiatives.
- Utilize AI to generate content ideas draft copy and create visual assets for social media email campaigns and website content.
- Assist in developing and optimizing AIdriven marketing campaigns including personalized messaging and targeted advertising.
Digital Marketing Support:
- Leveraging AI tools support email marketing campaigns including list segmentation content creation and performance analysis.
- Contribute to SEO efforts by researching keywords and optimizing website content.
- Assist in the creation and analysis of digital marketing reports using tools like Google Analytics.
Marketing Operations Support:
- Assist in data collection and analysis to identify marketing trends and insights.
- Assist in the development and documentation of marketing processes and workflows.
- Gather inputs from various sources to provide information to AI platforms to generate useful marketing information.
Innovation & Research:
- Stay uptodate on the latest AI trends and technologies in marketing.
- Research and propose innovative marketing strategies and tactics leveraging AI.
- Contribute to the development of pilot programs to test new AIdriven marketing approaches.
What youll bring to the role
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelors degree program in Marketing Communications Business or a related field.
- Strong interest in digital marketing marketing operations and artificial intelligence.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with AI tools and platforms
- Participate in external AI communities (eg. Hugging Face Jasper etc.)
