Compliance Coordinator

Working closely with Compliance Manager for the Engineering function at the GSK Ware manufacturing site the Compliance Coordinator is responsible for providing support with activities related to Quality Compliance and EHS. You will ensure the highest standards of compliance are always maintained as well as provide compliance support to the Management team as well as the wider Central Engineering Department.

Key Responsibilities:

To provide a comprehensive compliance support all aspects of the engineering department.

Responsible for supporting Compliance Manager (for Engineering Department) with specific metric reporting (including creation of new reports and metric development relating to Quality EHS and Engineering compliance activities).

Responsible for supporting Compliance Leads (with engineering owned Standard Operating Procedures) from a training perspective engineering document store and associated document management database MyLearning system within Engineering including acting as a point of contact for Learning and Development team for the department.

Responsible for maintaining and supporting business systems to ensure continuous compliance and improvement by the relevant department including the risk management process training system Quality Management System regulatory Engineering and EHS standards.

Responsible for implementing new systems and processes within the department by ensuring appropriate training materials are developed and effective training delivered.

Responsible for assisting in the design and deployment of training materials and training packages.

Responsible for being point of contact for Data Integrity within Central Engineering.

Support the Management team with the coordination of inspection readiness activities for both internal and external inspections. Support completion of Quality and EHS selfinspections for the area.

About You:

This role would suit a motivated person who has experience of working in a Compliance role (preferably from within an EFM or GMP environment). You will have a strong continuous improvement growth mindset and a willingness to work towards (and manage the implementation of) standardised and lean working practices.

Strong people skills and a proven ability to work in a team (eg; flexible approach good communication planning and organizational skills) are considered essential for the role.

About Ware Manufacturing Site:

We are colocated with our R&D colleagues and recently opened a new stateoftheart oral solid dose facility at Ware. At this location our scientists technicians and engineers (from R&D and Global Supply Chain GSC)work collaboratively together (using the latest technologies) to rapidly knowledge transfer and deliver GSKs most innovative medicines faster and more efficiently. On site we produce over 60 million respiratory inhalers each year with growing demand in future years. The site also processes Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) for use both on site and other manufacturing sites in our network.

Basic Qualifications:

Relevant qualifications and / or experience (eg; supplychain or compliance management).

Understanding of GMP and compliance methodologies.
