Introducing our Cleared Margin Client Service Team at JPMorgan where we specialize in supporting clients trading Futures & Options (F&O) and Over the Counter (OTC) Cleared Derivative products within the dynamic Equities Markets department. Our dedicated team plays a crucial role in managing and settling margin valueswhether in cash securities or letters of creditto safeguard the banks interests while facilitating seamless trading experiences for our clients.

Based in Bournemouth our team members are at the forefront of delivering exceptional client service and operational excellence. As part of our Global Clearing model the EMEA Margin team ensures a robust and controlled environment effectively mitigating counterparty risk through vigilant asset monitoring and collection.

As a Client Service Representative within Cleared Margin Client Service Team youll engage with buyside clients including hedge funds and investment advisors while fostering strong internal partnerships with marketers salespeople prime brokerage professionals credit executives and operations teams.

Job responsibilities

  • Develops the Clearing Client Service offering further.
  • Provides a flexible approach in order to support the Prime Financial Service businesses in a continually changing market environment.
  • Answers of incoming margin demands (requests for assets) sent by clients comparing them to JP Morgans exposure and agreeing on the amount and type of asset to be moved.
  • Follows up on anycounterparty failed settlements and investigation of disputed margin requirements.
  • Resolves incoming queries regarding a clients portfolio in a timely manner; escalate issues

Required qualifications capabilities and skills

  • Client Services experience or transferable history of partnering with internal teams
  • Problem solver with the ability to assist in the development of solutions for clients and strategic thinker able to review and implement process improvements.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail is required and highly numerate with good keyboard and core system (Outlook Excel Word) skills.
  • Excellent communication skills as the role involves detailed interactions across multiple lines of business and core processing areas.
  • Confidence to liaise with clients and deliver feedback on data relating to the clients interactions with the team
