Your Responsibilities
Define design and implement multitier distributed software applications.
Estimate engineering effort plan implementation and rollout system changes that meet requirements for functionality performance scalability reliability and adherence to development goals and principles.
Independently design code and test major features as well as work jointly with other team members to deliver complex changes.
Collaborate effectively in a fast paced environment with multiple teams in a large organization (software development project management build and release etc).
Provide oncall production support for payment platform applications. (Note that we have a team to provides night time support)
3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary for this position ranges from $114800/year up to $191800/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
