About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detailoriented Working Student Risk Management to support our Risk Controlling Function. In this role you will contribute to the development and monitoring of our risk management framework as we prepare for regulatory oversight under ZAGMaRisk and MiCAR. Working closely with our Risk Manager and experienced professionals you will gain firsthand exposure to risk inventory processes stress testing risk reporting and early risk detection systemsall critical components in a financial infrastructure setting.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the maintenance and update of the risk inventory including identification assessment and documentation of risks across operations and teams.
  • Support the development of risk reports and summaries for internal stakeholders and external parties.
  • Contribute to regulatory projects including implementation of riskrelated requirements under MiCA ZAG and other applicable frameworks.
  • Help draft internal process documentation and support in monitoring compliance with internal risk culture policies and procedures.
  • Support stress testing and scenario analysis exercises related to liquidity redemption and asset price shocks.
  • Collaborate with compliance finance and product teams to ensure risk considerations are integrated into key initiatives.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for internal audits and risk committee meetings.

Requirements

Key Requirements

  • Enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program in Finance Economics (Financial) Mathematics Quantitative Finance or a related field.
  • Strong interest in financial regulation risk management digital assets and Web3 technologies.
  • Basic understanding of risk types (market credit operational liquidity ICT) and regulatory principles (e.g. MiCA ZAG Basel III).
  • Analytical thinking attention to detail and ability to structure complex topics clearly.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets Docs Slides); knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g. Excel Power BI) is a bonus.
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus.
  • Selfstarter with good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
