Facility Maintenance
Location: Shafter CA
Schedule: Monday Saturday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
Employment Type: FullTime TempToHire
About the Role:
Key Staffing is seeking a reliable and experienced Facility Maintenance to support the daytoday upkeep and maintenance of our food processing facility. This role is ideal for a handson individual with a strong work ethic basic maintenance knowledge and forklift experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the grounds and exterior areas of the facility including landscaping cleaning and general upkeep
Perform facility maintenance and basic plumbing repairs as needed
Assist with minor building repairs power washing and equipment upkeep
Operate a sitdown forklift for material handling and transport
Maintain cleanliness and safety in outdoor work zones ensuring compliance with food safety and OSHA regulations
Support the maintenance team in special projects and seasonal preparation of the facility
Complete daily and weekly checklists to ensure grounds and maintenance standards are met
Requirements:
Valid Drivers License required (Class A preferred but not required)
Previous groundskeeping & facility maintenance experience ideally in a food processing or industrial setting
Basic plumbing and mechanical repair skills
Sitdown forklift certification and experience required
Ability to lift 50 lbs. bend stoop walk and stand for long periods of time
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
