Were looking for a Construction Lead that will be at the heart of providing knowledgeable direction and strategic planning throughout every stage of our major projects ensuring your expertise directly shapes the successful construction of our large water infrastructure.
About the role:
In this role youll take the lead in guiding & shaping the delivery of some of our most significant water infrastructure projects ranging from $100 million to $1.5 billion contributing to programs of work reaching up to $3 billion!
Youll provide expert oversight strategic advice and handson planning across the entire project lifecycle. Your expertise in constructability scheduling construction management safety quality and risk will be key to ensuring our projects are delivered efficiently safely and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert delivery management advice and oversight on construction strategy sequencing safety scheduling and risk for major water infrastructure projects ($100m).
- Lead the coordination and review of project schedules contractor programs risk workshops and constructability assessments to support project delivery and business cases.
- Oversee & support procurement delivery planning and supplier performance to ensure efficient and effective execution of major works.
- Ensure alignment of delivery management systems and reporting tools (e.g. SAP TM1) with project needs and external stakeholder requirements.
- Provide leadership across multidisciplinary teams modelling values building capability and supporting successful project outcomes with high financial and reputational impact.
To thrive in this role youll bring:
- Deep knowledge of construction standards laws project scheduling and cost management for major infrastructure projects.
- Minimum of 10 years contractorbased experience with a proven track record of successfully delivering water infrastructure linear assets and treatment facilities on projects valued at $100 million or more.
- Strong ability to forecast and communicate project timelines and costs with clarity and credibility to stakeholders.
- A track record of driving positive business change influencing decisionmaking and building trusted relationships across complex organisations.
- Proficiency in scheduling tools like Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project with a strong understanding of constructability reviews.
