ABOUT GENERATION
When learners join Generation 91% are unemployed of which nearly half are longterm unemployed. Three months after completing our program graduates have an 78% job placement rate rising to 88% within six months. Of our employed graduates 68% are hired by repeat employers who have previously hired Generation graduates and 89% are in jobs directly related to the profession for which we have trained them. Employed graduates immediately earn an average of 34X their previous earnings. Two to five years after graduation 77% of our alumni from uppermiddle income countries continue to meet their daily financial needs and 63% can save for the future. To date Generations global graduates have earned more than $1 billion in wages. Generation graduates typically have a secondary school background 54% are female 34% have dependents and the majority identify with underrepresented communities in their country.
JOB DETAILS
This is a fulltime contractor role working up to 40 hours per week.
No benefits will be offered such as health coverage or paid vacation; only an hourly rate will be given.
Start date is ASAP with an approximate end date of the first week of September 2025.
There is a possibility of extension but that will be determined at the end of the contract period.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Program Implementation Associate would temporarily support as a replacement for a maternity leave. The Associate works collaboratively with the rest of the implementation team to improve the delivery of programs across the network including the GYE support offered to the network and Generation Direct programs.
The Program Implementation Associate is responsible for:
Assisting in evaluating the analytical needs of the network by supporting internal analysis documentation and reporting.
Responding to country requests and needs through resource development and problem solving.
Working with the Program Delivery support team and other global teams to provide support and resources to the network.
Tracking and organizing feedback from regional and network stakeholders to help surface key blockers and improvement opportunities within the shared delivery platform (SDP).
Aiding in the codification and internal sharing of knowledge across the network including supporting the development of materials for the network learning agenda and learning sessions.
Collaborating with PDS team members to compile format and organize proposals for improvements to the SDP in coordination with input from the Digital Data and Region teams.
Supporting documentation coordination and followup related to Generation Direct launches and ongoing operations including helping gather input toward the longterm vision for GenDirect.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Associate Program Implementation will:
Conduct research on best practices and new knowledge from across the Generation network and codify that knowledge and those best practices in order to share them widely across the network.
Support in facilitating and codifying knowledge from regional learning sessions to share best practices in collaboration with the Manager Program Implementation.
Act as a problemsolving partner for the network as relevant and needed.
Maintain online knowledge repository (E.g. GenInfo) and online communities (e.g. slack) to promote awareness and adoption of best practices.
Support the Global Lead Program implementation in projects within the Program Delivery team including identifying and addressing potential risks and developing mitigation plans communicating effectively with team members and other stakeholders and monitoring and reporting on project progress.
Supporting the delivery of Generation Direct programs in conjunction with relevant Region Leaders.
Support the implementation of Generation Direct programs as needed.
Support the Leads and Director of the Function with team engagement and team building.
