We are seeking a detailoriented Real Estate Specialist who specializes in rightofway acquisition. Your knowledge will play a vital role in establishing fair market values and evaluating just compensation for any damages incurred. In this role you will utilize your expertise to advocate for equitable compensation for property owners affected by rightofway projects ensuring that appraisals are completed efficiently to meet project deadlines. As a Real Estate Specialist you will oversee Department of Transportation land including the disposition and leasing processes of these parcels. Strong communication skills are essential for this role as you will facilitate collaboration among various units and engage with rightofway acquisition consultants on departmental projects. Your responsibilities will include clarifying the Departments policies and procedures related to rightofway processes ensuring compliance and negotiating with property owners and their representatives regarding acquisitions and relocation claims. In collaboration with our team you will have the chance to address challenges and interpret relevant policies rules regulations and contracts.
