Job Title: Sales & Event Manager (Seasonal)

Location: Envue Autograph Collection Weehawken NJ

Company Overview: Blue Sky Hospitality Solutions LLC is a dynamic and innovative management company dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences to our customers. As we continue to grow we are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales & Event Manager to join our team on a seasonal basis.

Position Overview: As the Sales & Event Manager (Seasonal) you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and managing events for our company during the peak season. You will be responsible for transitioning clients from the sales phase to event coordination and execution. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and events excellent organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients vendors and partners.
  • Develop creative sales strategies to increase sales through upsells and event addons
  • Coordinate all aspects of event planning and execution including venue selection catering entertainment and logistics.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the event planning process ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Manage event budgets and expenses to ensure profitability.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure a seamless experience for clients and guests.
  • Conduct postevent evaluations to assess the success of events and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Hospitality Management or related field.
  • Proven experience in sales and event management with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport and influence others.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced environment.
  • Creative problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required and Marriott CI/TY system preferred.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
