Job Description

Job Responsibilities

The person in this Instructional Designer position will collaborate with assigned content area and office teams to create maintain and revise VirtualSC courses. Create online courses and course components that meet program standards and reflect best practices in instructional design. Maintain and revise assigned VirtualSC courses to ensure quality throughout the VirtualSC course catalog. Contribute to the continuous improvement of design practices and curriculum delivery at VirtualSC. Participate in training to develop and maintain skills knowledge and mastery of instructional design and technical skills. Perform other duties as required by Director and/or Team Leader.

This position is located in the Office of VirtualSC.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

A Bachelors degree and experience in education management or business.

Preferred Qualifications

A Masters degree and three (3) years of experience; or a Bachelors degree and five (5) years of experience in education education technology management or business.

Additional Comments

Limited overnight travel.
