Job Description

Des Moines Renaissance Savery is looking for an ambitious and fun individual to join our hardworking food and beverage team at our StepStone Hospitality managed hotel. Our goal is to enhance the customer experience by having an enthusiastic staff to ensure event guests are well taken care of!


Stock and restock beer wine spirits mixers garnishes glassware and other bar supplies.

Keep bar areas clean and organized throughout the shift.

Assist bartenders by retrieving items changing kegs and cleaning spills.

Wash and polish glassware.

Empty trash and recycling regularly.

Sweeps and mops floors in bar and bar storage areas daily.

Help with bar opening closing and side work duties.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Occasionally assist with bar service during peak hours (if trained and permitted).

Inform the manager of a requisition for liquor and supplies.

Maintain a clean and organized bar area including bar tops tools and glassware.

Notify a manager immediately of any guest complaints.

Use proper etiquette guidelines with guests.

Comply with all food and beverage regulations and health/safety guidelines.

Requirements


Minimum lifting of 50 pounds.

Pushing bending stooping upward reaching and manual dexterity.

Hearing writing typing.

Minimum pulling of 50 pounds.

Other duties may be assigned.
